From 2003 to 2006, a new information programme costing 267 million Euro is being set up to inform the public about the EU. A cornerstone of this revamped programme is to put all official EU information into different forms, in order to reach different target groups. All information will be controlled via public opinion test groups in each Member State, and adjusted in accordance with the results of these tests. Keyword concepts to be promoted are "prosperity", "freedom" and "justice". The education of journalists is also included in the information strategy.Links
