Notes
- He had a more limited function that that of his American counterpart, Alan Greenspan. This has led to the ECB adopting a much more conservative interest rate policy.
- Greenspan, the chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank in the USA is - unlike the ECB - charged with the aim of maintaining employment and fostering economic growth.
