Voting in the EU Parliament

The normal requirement is a simple majority of votes. For co-decision and some of the assent procedures, an absolute majority of EP-members is required. An absolute majority is 367 out of 732 possible votes.
The EU Constitution proposes to change the number of seats in the Parliament to 750. An absolute majority would then require 376 votes.
