European Peoples Party, EPP or, in French, PPE. Part of the EPP/ED group
The Christian Democrat cross-country party founded in 1976. Runs the biggest group in the EU Parliament, called the EPP/ED Group, dedicated to further integration.
ED stands for European Democrats. The British Conservatives are aligned to the EPP Group in the EU Parliament through the "ED".
