Founded in 1948 to support European integration towards a federal Europe.
The movement has national branches in 32 countries.
It is subsidised by the EU budget at both international and national levels.

Britain and the European Movement
Claim to be Britain's largest pro-European movement. Founded by Sir Winston Churchill in 1948 and now chaired by Ian Taylor, MP. Aim for Britain to play a leading role in Europe and to join the single currency.Links
